It's coming up again. That being, the nomination of officers for our lodge. The lodge is required to hold at least three nominating committee meetings which start on the 3rd Tuesday of February. Anyone interested in running for office can contact one of the nominating committee members which are your present Board of Officers along with five Past Governors and five members at large which will be named later. As of right now, the following positions are up for election- Governor, Jr. Governor, Prelate, Treasurer, and 3 Year Trustee. The Governor position has to be someone that has served on the Jonesboro board for 1 year. The Jr. Governor and Prelate positions has to be a member of good standing in Jonesboro for at least 6 months. Treasurer and 3 Year Trustee can be any member in good standing from Jonesboro.
This is a great way to get more involved in YOUR lodge, so don't hesitate to throw your name in the hat.
